How to curl hair - FAST!

Hello again! Being a naturally straight-haired girl, i always find myself wishing for curly bouncy hair, but when it comes round to getting my curlers out i end up giving up half way through and walking away with a dead arm. Lets face it, curling hair takes a longggggg time, especially if your hair is long and thick like mine.

I was browsing Pinterest and found a picture of a girl who put her hair in a pony tail, curled it then had a head full of beautiful curls! The first thing i though was yeah right no one can curl hair that quick and make it look nice from a pony tail, and it would never work on my hard to curl hair - i was wrong.

My natural straight hair before curling

Things you will need: A curling wand OR a straightener (depends what kind of curl you want!)
                                    Hairbrush
                                    Hair bobble
                                    Hair spray (optional)

You don't have to use fancy products! My Tresseme curlers were inexpensive!

Following the picture of the girl with beautiful hair was easy enough, the first thing i did was brush through my tangly long hair (which took forever) and make sure it was all smooth.

Why i felt the need to take a photo of me brushing my hair i do not know!

The next step was to put your hair into a ponytail, I've found out the higher the ponytail you create, the higher on your head the curls will be so if you want all over curly, go as high as possible.

Then, all you need to do is curl sections of your ponytail! You have so many options here, you can curl with whatever tool you want, i just used a medium sized curling wand. Then you can choose how tight or loose you do the curls depending on size of the sections you use. My hair is very long and very thick and it only took me ten minutes to curl all of my pony tail. After you have finished curling your hair, it will look something like this:
Its tempting to wear this as a hairstyle on it's own! Very pretty and girly

Then, all you have to do is take your hair down and literally see the miracle that has just happened!

I was so impressed with this Pinterest tutorial i had to create a post on it! This has saved me no end of time and it actually looks good for a change. Woo hoooo!

Tell me what you think, have you ever tried this technique for curling hair or do you have an even better one you like to use? :)
